Be a Change competition instructions

1. Publish your idea if you want to. You can publish it here and other idea-sharing sites like GlobalIdeasBank. By publishing you can get feedback from expert commentators and other diverse people from all around the world and thus find other people who are interested in your idea. With a lot of feedback and a team to work with you you can make your concept both bigger and better and thus create more meaningful societal impact. We have collected some tips for using this platform for networking and idea development.
2. Talk a lot about your idea. Try to find interested customers and partners and people to work with you and ask for everybody's feedback. Look for people and organizations that are interested in the same societal issue that your idea is addressing. Most of them will want to help you in some way.
3. Make a business plan draft using the template.
4. Sign up for Be a Change event by 17.10. here.
5. Sign up for AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary by 10.10. here.
6. Submit your business plan draft to grandjury@beachange.org by 12.10.2008 10:00 (GMT+2)
7. Participate Be a Change event. Things to do there:

• Book an interview with Grand Jury at the Grand Jury stand so that you can get feedback for your business plan draft and the jury can ask you questions and vice versa.
• Meet other experts at advisory stands and attend workshops that help you finalize your concept.
• Participate Personal Passions workshop between 15 and 17 on Thu. Purpose of this workshop is to clarify your motivation for yourself and for the jury.
• Be at the idea presentation session on Fri between 15 and 16 to present your idea.
• Send your final business plan to grandjury@beachange.org by 1.11.2008 08:00 (GMT+2).
• Participate AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary 1.11. You are expected to participate at least the award ceremony 1.11. 20-21. You can see the prize here and evaluation criteria here.

1. Browse ideas and follow discussions here.
2. If you find something interesting, contact other people, who are discussing it and find out who else would be interested to take the idea forward.
3. Start following the steps for those who already have a socially relevant business idea

1. Sign up for Be a Change event here by 17.10. and for AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary here by 10.10.
2. Participate the idea generation sessions during the first day of Be a Change event 30.10. Things to do there:
3. Grab one of the generated ideas and develop it into a concept with the help of all the experts you can meet and other sessions you can attend.
4. Do all the other things mentioned above about what to do in the event, in the instructions for those who already have a socially relevant business idea.

About AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary

1.11.2008 you have an opportunity to participate AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary where you can learn more about sustainable business and expand your network with AIESEC members and alumni. Award ceremony of Be a Change competition will happen at the AIESEC in Finland 60th anniversary dinner in restaurant Sipuli.

It is possible to come to the award ceremony for free and without registering beforehand. If you want to have the dinner, too, you need to register here. It costs 50 euros normally and 35 euros for those students who also participate Be a Change.
