About Be a Change

The purpose of Be a Change is to generate and realize innovative concepts that drive social change with business means. Be a Change is an innovation contest, which enables winners to put their innovative ideas into life. Participants of the contest are helped to develop innovative ideas to implementable business plans through virtual support, expert feedback and an event itself. At the event, participants get to interact with entrepreneurial people from diverse backgrounds and thus get a wide range of ideas, feedback and contacts to help them move forward with their innovations.

Three socially relevant business ideas were awarded in Be a Change 2008: brand-building for social entrepreneurs, open money system and community home for senior citizens. Read more about the winners and the competition in press release in Finnish or in English.
