Donation portfolio management
Helping people compile a personal donation portfolio of charity organizations.
Challenge - What societal challenge does it combat?
People want to give some money to charity but don't want to spend hours comparing organizations.
Markets - Who will buy, what, why and how much they are going to pay for it?
People who have extra money because they want to give part of it to good causes but have no time to analyze, what organization would be best for them. They pay for somebody finding information about different charity organizations and designing how to best allocate their donations according to their personal values. They are going to pay maybe 10-20 % of the value of the whole donation.
Alternatively: E.g. in TaiKa, there could be a grant that would support research about societal impact. The information this research provides, would help people decide, in the same way as financial analysis about toady's businesses help people decide what to invest on.
Profit prospects - What investments are needed? What operating costs are there? How much revenue is expected during the whole life-cycle of the business from the birth to market growth to stagnation to perishing of the product/service?
Competition - What competing products or services there are? What are their market share, pricing, strengths and weaknesses
Differentiation - How does this idea differentiate you from others in the markets?
Verified need - How many people you have found that are ready to buy your products or services?
Impact - What positive impact does your idea have on society and environment?
Charity organizations get more donations because donating is made easier. Thus they can do more and make a better impact.
- What negative impact does it have?
- How can the negative impact be eliminated or made remarkably smaller than the positive one?
- How can the positive impact grow bigger?
This enables charity organizations do less "feissaus" (which makes most people frustrated), because they can reach their target group more efficiently through this service. Thus, these organizations not only get more donations but also save the money they are now using in face-to-face marketing on streets. This could be combined with e.g. training services for charity organizations enabling them also make their work more efficient and thus create even more impact with the increased amount of money they get. People could pay for even more help with how to allocate their money responsibly. E.g. you could send your shopping list and the service would find out, what are the brands you should choose to make your shopping list max sustainable. There is already www.tuotewiki.fi. When that expands and becomes an easy place to check any info about any product, this kind of sustainable shopping list service is not very relevant anymore.
A related idea is Grrr... - Get anything, Rented, Repaired or Remade. Sustainable shopping list manager would deal with the consumative products such as food, washing powder and fertilizer - Grrr... would deal with long-lasting products such as shoes, toys and ovens.
