For AIESEC LCs interested in organizing Be a Change 2009
Be a Change is an innovation competition for new innovations that are socially relevant. The purpose of the competition is to advance social entrepreneurship. AIESEC and Feelovation organized it first time in 2008. Awarded innovations were branding agency for social entrepreneurs, open money system and communal retirement home.
Be a Change 2009 is going to shake the world for even better through awarding innovations in three categories:
1) awareness and understanding
2) equal access to well-being
3) climate change
This means that Be a Change 2009 is going to be even more meaningful for the world and bring even more credit for its organizer. Your LC could be that organizer.

"As Organizing Committee President of Be a Change 2008 I lived my dream of doing good and growing personally. It was a challenging, rewarding and weird adventure in the intersection of business and activist worlds.
It took me to weird places from recycling center backyard to consultant offices, to meet weird people from CEOs to artists and to do weird things from negotiating plant sponsorship to running innovation workshop for children.
Weird situations and perspectives taught me two key things: that anything is possible for me and that there are incredibly many people who persistently want to do something for the best of the world."
